THE LITTLE SCHOOL

A play by Alicia Partnoy: The Little School: Tales of Disappearance and Survival, Adapted by Deborah Merola

Alicia Partnoy travels to Nepal to recount her own story of disappearance and imprisonment during the 1970’s Argentine “Dirty War” with humor, courage and humanity. Her daughter Eva Leiva shares the role of Narrator, with design based on the paintings of her mother Raquel Partnoy, and original music by Argentine composer Alejandro Rutty. The OWT ensemble help create the movement, song and poetry that make this horrific story tolerable and even transcendent.
